DAY OF ACTION

NEXT "DAY OF ACTION" IS FRIDAY, APRIL 27, 2012. REGISTER NOW!

Each year, in the spring and fall, United Way sponsors a day of volunteering. Individuals perform tasks at local non-profits to support them in their work of helping those in need.

Board of Directors
United Way is governed by a local Board of Directors. Please call us if you are interested in becoming a board member.

Community Fund Panel Volunteer
Community Fund Panel Members ensure each dollar invested in programs through the Community Fund make the greatest impact possible in our community. Panel members review program applications, participate in agency site visits, attend program presentations and recommend program funding to the United Way Board of Directors.

Employee Campaign Coordinator
The Employee Campaign Coordinator for an organization plays the most important role in the success of an organization's employee campaign. This volunteer's role is to organize a successful employee campaign by working with the CEO/local Chief Executive, the campaign team, and United Way to increase workplace giving.

Loaned Executive
Each year United Way asks local businesses and organizations to select valued employees or retirees to participate in the Loaned Executive Program part-time for a 14-week period. Loaned Executives assist in implementing workplace campaigns at local businesses.
